Scenario: Design and build a website to help promote an established restaurant, and to provide tools to improve the efficiency of in-house IT processes.
Business: Jews House Restaurant, a well-known restaurant based in a 900 hundred year old, grade one listed building in Lincoln.
Challenge: To design a website showcasing the restaurant, its impressive menu and location, and to provide tools to help staff design and print menus more efficiently.
Solution: ACT designed, developed and hosted the database-driven site, which included:
- Design and layout of site, using XHTML, PHP, MySQL and Flash
- Provison of administration console for staff to add and edit site content
- Secure e-mail and web hosting in our datacentre
